Conditions
- In order to use EgoPay’s services, a person must register for an online account at www.egopay.com and agree to the terms of service, privacy policy and anti money laundering policy.
- A person must declare to be at least 18 years old at the time of registering an account and EgoPay reserves the right to ask for official personal identification documents for this purpose.
- EgoPay is restricted to users of certain countries and a person must agree not to violate any laws or regulations of their residential countries by using EgoPay’s services. Not respecting this clause will lead to account closure and the account holder holds all legal responsibility, including indemnity for possible losses.
- Registering of multiple accounts is acceptable, but only one account is allowed for each e-mail address.
- Passwords must contain at least one upper case letter, at least one digit and must contain a minimum of 8 characters. The password is necessary to obtain account access.
- The PIN code must contain exactly 5 characters and is used as 2nd step identity confirmation to log in to an account.
- The Security color is used to identify that you are in fact accessing the EgoPay website and not a 3rd party fraudulent website. The color will be shown on the 2nd log in step and will always be exactly the same security color used when signing up for the EgoPay account.
- EgoPay does not allow the following business types: gambling, child porn, pharmaceutical sales, replica, hate, bestiality and tobacco, alcohol sales.

Personal data Accuracy
- Account holders are encouraged to provide valid and accurate personal information during registration as this step is mandatory if the bank wire funding and withdrawal option provided by EgoPay will be utilized. EgoPay reserves the right to verify all information provided and copies of personal identification documents and proof of address may be requested. Failing to comply with this clause could result in misuse of your account and immediate suspension may also occur to prevent fraudulent activity. Please note that EgoPay respects your privacy and it is voluntary to provide personal information, except to become a bank wire verified account.
- The following documents are valid for personal information verification: valid passport, government issued identification document or driver’s license. Documents such as birth certificate, student card, working badge, are NOT acceptable.
- The following documents are valid for address verification: Recent bank or credit card statement, utility bill, such as gas, electricity or fixed telephone bill.

Password/PIN code Protection
- Account holders must ensure that their login credentials are kept in a safe place and is not shared with others. EgoPay provides a secure environment to protect all sensitive information using advanced 256 bit SSL encryption provided by GeoTrustinc.

Customer Obligations
- Accounts are non transferable and are under no circumstances to be transferred or assigned to a third party or legal entity.
- Account holders must comply with security, password protection and identity protection recommendations provided by EgoPay by following its guidelines at www.egopay.com.
- Account holders must ensure their account details are updated regularly to ensure they are receiving EgoPay’s communications. EgoPay is not responsible for possible losses caused by account holders failing to comply with this clause.
- Account holders have access to all transactions carried out with their account as well as any fees involved. Any possible irregularities are to be reported by contacting EgoPay Customer Service department.

Indelible Transactions
- Account holders agree that all transactions are final and not reversible.
- EgoPay does not hold or take responsibility for wrong transfers, even if the instructions provided by a Merchant are incorrect.
- Transactions, funding and withdrawals are subject to charges and fees. Please see 9 section for more information and details regarding EgoPay fees.
- Transactions are only permitted between EgoPay account holders. Each EgoPay account is attached to an e-mail address, which identifies the account and which must be provided when arranging a transaction. Account holders must insert the exact e-mail address of the recipient.
- EgoPay provides account holders with a confirmation page including all details of the transaction’s recipient, which must be verified and confirmed.
- EgoPay does not hold the responsibility for errors made by account holders inserting the recipient’s account identifier.
- A recipient’s account will be instantly credited with the inserted amount, once the sender confirms the transaction.
- EgoPay is registered and domiciled in Belize, thus following and respecting Belize’s legal requirements, which include limiting certain businesses from using EgoPay as a payment option.
- EgoPay is not responsible for any misuse of provided services. Account holders shall verify the usability of this type of financial service within their jurisdiction or country of citizenship and residence.

Disputes
- EgoPay does not take part in disputes between account holders and merchants. All transactions are final, irreversible and possible misunderstandings between an account holder and a merchant shall be acknowledged and resolved between them, except in the case of a merchant’s transgression or fraudulent use of EgoPay’s services, declared by a higher legal entity of an account holders jurisdiction. In some rare cases, EgoPay will investigate and reverse transactions found to violate fair practice and are abusing other EgoPay account holders or EgoPay services.
- EgoPay does not offer any guarantees regarding merchants offered services or products, neither the shipping nor quality of them.

Redemptions and Indemnifications
- EgoPay does not hold responsibility for any type of damage or loss caused by payments made to wrong recipients, payments made for incorrect amounts, payments made by third parties through an account holders account, errors in merchant’s content, delays or data loss caused by telecommunications systems, government acts, fraud and malfeasance of the account holder.

EgoPay’s Responsibilities
- EgoPay ensures that a safe and secure online interface is provided.
- All transactions are backed by USD and EUR.
- EgoPay commits to back all electronic funds with a USD and EUR reserve.
- EgoPay shall specify an exchange rate for orders coming from different currencies, to be agreed on before the transactions are pursued.

Privacy
- By accepting these terms of service, account holders also agree to EgoPay’s Privacy Policy terms.
- EgoPay collects personal information of account holders based on the current laws of Belize.
- Account holders agree to receive e-mails from EgoPay containing information regarding new features, promotions and special events. Account holders can change their account settings for e-mail notifications under the tab Profile after logging in to their account.
- Personal information can be changed under the tab Profile after logging in to their account. If for any reason, it is not possible to change some of the information, account holders must contact the Customer Service department with their updated information.
- Account holders personal information is kept for a period of three years after account closure for legal reasons.

Account Termination
- Account holders reserve the right to terminate their account with EgoPay at anytime.
- EgoPay may terminate an account holder’s account without prior notice if found to violate the terms.
- Reasons for account termination include, but are not limited to: breaking of terms of service, fraudulent activity, law or regulation violation and complying with court orders for investigation.
- EgoPay reserves the right to terminate an account in the case where the account holder is using any feature to hide their actual location and in the case of Copyright infringements, as described in section 12.
- EgoPay does not terminate accounts due to inactivity.

Copyright
- Account holders shall only use EgoPay’s trademarks with written permission from the EgoPay administration.
- Account holders may not modify EgoPay’s trademarks.
- Failing to comply with EgoPay copyright clauses will result in immediate account termination.

Changes
- EgoPay reserves the right to change all terms of service and other policies by providing account holders a two-week prior notice.
- Account holders will be notified by e-mail about terms changes and they must agree to them when logging to their account. In the case where an account holder does not agree with the new clauses, they will have two weeks to move their funds out of EgoPay before account termination.

Opening an Account

Who are able to open an EgoPay account?
To open an account with EgoPay you must be at least 18 years old and, as our services are restricted to a certain number of countries, you must also reside in an allowed country. The list is located on the sign up page.
Can I have more than one EgoPay account?
EgoPay has no objections if you wish to register multiple accounts as long as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are respected for each account. A different e-mail account shall be used for each EgoPay account.
Do I need to verify my identity to open an account?
EgoPay does not request any type of identification proof during the process of opening an account, but real, verifiable and up-to-date information must be used as EgoPay can request account holders to provide proof of address and identity in case of a fraud investigation or suspicious activity conducted using the account.
How do I open an account?
To open an account, you simply need to enter the information requested in the fields on the sign up page and then confirm via the activation email we will send you.
I haven’t received my activation e-mail, what should I do?
Please check your SPAM folders to see if it might have ended up there. Sometimes our server takes a few hours to send you the confirmation e-mail, but if you haven’t received it after 12 hours, please contact our Support Department providing the e-mail you used to register and we will send you a new activation e-mail.

What are the fees for sending and receiving money?

Can I send money to someone who doesn’t have an EgoPay account?
No, payments can only be sent and received to and from other EgoPay account holders.
Can I cancel a transaction once it has been completed?
No, all transactions are final and cannot be reversed. If you have a problem after making a payment, you need to solve this matter directly with the recipient. Only under rare circumstances will EgoPay reverse a transaction, and only due to fraudulent or supsicious activity violating EgoPay terms.

How can I fund my EgoPay account?
Your EgoPay account can be funded via bank wire, via Payza or via various exchangers. A list of verified exchangers can be found on the Exchanger’s page Here. You can use either one of them to fund your EgoPay account using a bank wire or a credit card, and the same procedure applies when withdrawing money from your EgoPay account.
Can you recommend an exchanger?
EgoPay does not endorse any merchants or service providers, however we strive to keep our list up to date with trusted exchangers only.

How do I change the personal information of my account?
You can change your information by logging in to your EgoPay account and proceed via the tab Profile.
How do I close my EgoPay account?
Account holders can permanently delete their accounts by logging in to their account and proceed via the tab Profile. Once an account is deleted, it cannot be restored, however a new account can be opened at anytime.

How safe is EgoPay?
EgoPay is running on dedicated private servers with the most advanced protection tools. In addition your account is secured by a password and a PIN code. You will use your password and PIN code to login to your accountCan I login to EgoPay from different IP’s?
Logins from multiple locations are allowed but our system is IP sensitive, which means when you login from a different IP, a confirmation code will be sent to your e-mail address to confirm that you are the real owner of the account.
